Guided visit to the bustling fish market, the third biggest market in the country.

Prrice: from 10€.

Duration: half day.
Pickup at the hotel at 17:00 Hours.
We head at the Saly Niakh Niakhal area, where we will find the interior road leading to Mbour. Once there, we take a typical local transportation: horse-drawn wagons.
We will arrive at the Mbour beach and make a guided visit to the busy fish market. It is the third biggest market in the country. We will be able to observe the amazing arrival of the fishing boats, painted in a variety of colors, docking at the beach fully loaded of fish. You will be shocked by the amount and the variety of fish that we will find: tuna, bream, swordfish, sharks... The beach will be crowded by market’ workers (young porters, fish-cleaning women, kids offering plastic bags…). Our specialized guide will explain all the secrets around this market, full of smells and colors.
We will have some extra time to visit the wood-craftsmen market, where we will be able to watch the building process of native musical instruments.
